Measurement is free. Two hours of attention is not.
Being measured, being listed, the badge, the generic fix for every condition, and asking for a re-measurement are all free and stay free. What has a price is labour: somebody looking at your specific server, or turning a measurement into a document a decision maker will sign.
Earlier on 2026-08-19 this page carried a different headline, and it was live for several hours. It said, in full:
If you run a server, there is nothing here to buy.
Measurement is free, the badge is free, the fix instructions are free, and being on the register is free. None of that has a paid tier and none of it is going to grow one. The paid work is on the other side of the connection, for companies deciding what to plug into.
That is no longer true. There is now one paid thing for operators: a report on why your specific server did not meet a condition. It is here, and it names the conflict of interest on its own front page.
This is a change of policy, not a corrected measurement. It is printed the same way anyway, because a price list that quietly changes is not a price list, and because the earlier wording was published and somebody may have read it.
The things that would be worth the most to charge for
Three things, and all of them are labour
Being told the moment a condition flips
The verdict is free. Noticing that it changed at 03:00 is not. Daily measurement and a message when a condition goes from met to not met.
$15 per month, up to 3 endpoints, $5 each beyond that.
$150 per year, two months free.
For the company deciding what to connect
Somebody inside a company has to sign off on plugging an agent into a third party's server. That signature needs a document, and the document does not write itself.
Priced from hours, at 22,000 JPY per hour including tax. The hour breakdown is published, so you can check the arithmetic rather than trust the number.
Why your server, specifically, did not meet a condition
The generic fix for every condition is free and complete. This is for when you have followed it and your row is still not green. The raw response we got, the exact condition, what to change, and a re-measurement after.
2.0 hours for one endpoint. 44,000 JPY including tax in Japan, USD 290 outside it. In Japan, invoiced after delivery, and not at all if it told you nothing the free pages would have. Outside Japan, the quoted amount is paid by card before the work starts, on the payment page. Either way, we tell you whether the free pages would have solved it before there is anything to pay.
There is no price for these because there is no mechanism for these
- ✗A verdict. You cannot buy a pass. There is no code path that takes a payment and changes a status.
- ✗Removal of a row. A row that is not green stays visible. We did not build a delete.
- ✗Position in the list. Order is not sold and there is no sponsored slot.
- ✗Referral fees. Zero. Nobody listed here pays us for being listed here.
Our own servers are measured by the same machine on the same schedule, and some of them are not green right now. If a payment could have fixed that, it would have.
Measure it yourself first
Ten seconds, no account, and it works on servers you do not own. If that answers your question, it answers your question and there is nothing further to buy.
